Laurie and Todd Mefford moved to Fort Leavenworth in 2012 from Lawton/Fort Sill, OK, where Laurie taught both elementary and special education and Todd worked with the Army.  Since settling in the Leavenworth/Lansing area, Laurie worked for a local boutique and Todd retired from the Army in 2016 after 22 years of service.  Having been on the move as part of their life in the military, Laurie and Todd have gone through the process of buying, selling and renting homes.
